We are a husband and wife team. By day, we are corporate software developers. By passion, we are the founders of Onari.

We didn’t start this brand just to sell products. We started it because of a daily frustration we experienced ourselves. My wife loves jewelry, but her traditional gold pieces were just too heavy and bulky for the office.

Plus, with gold prices being sky-high, buying gold is treated like an investment. You buy it, lock it in a safe, and only wear it for weddings or big occasions. We thought: "Why is it so hard to find minimal, elegant jewelry that you can wear to work every single day without spending a fortune?"

That is when Onari was born.

The name comes straight from the heart. We took the Hindi word Nari (which means Woman) and added an O.

It is an expression of awe and respect for the modern woman who effortlessly balances her work, her family, and her style.
